Section steel is the abbreviation of complex section steel and special-shaped section steel. It is a kind of section steel, which is different from simple section steel. This paper briefly introduces how to use the same measuring instrument to complete the detection of multi thought data.
There are five channels of 70 probes, three channels of 70 probes and 150 combined probes in the special-shaped steel wire measuring instrument. Among these probes, 70 measuring ranges are between 0 ~ 70mm, which are used to measure the diameter φ 9~ φ 46mm round steel, 25 ~ 45mm angle steel side length and 4.5 ~ 25mm flat steel thickness; 150 double probes in the range of 20 ~ 150mm are used to measure the angle steel with diameter of 50 ~ 65mm and the width of flat steel with diameter of 38 ~ 100mm (customizable).
After the multi-functional caliper is installed in the finishing mill, the geometric dimensions of the passed rolled products are measured on line. TCP / IP standard industrial interface is adopted between the upper computer and the caliper, which is transmitted by optical cable, and the detection signal is transmitted to the industrial control computer in the main operation room; TCP / IP standard industrial interface and optical cable transmission are adopted between the on-site LED display screen and the industrial computer; The LCD display terminal in the operation room is displayed synchronously with the field led display. It can reflect the dimensional change of rolled piece in real time, which is convenient for relevant personnel on site to adjust the rolling mill or pass in time. The measuring head is made of aluminum alloy and has good heat dissipation performance. When the high-pressure centrifugal fan continuously provides air for the caliper, it can ensure that the photoelectric element in the probe is within the normal working temperature range.
The multi-purpose caliper 4-way 70 single head group is arranged on one side of the main disc body, 3-way 150 double probe and 1-way 70 single head group are arranged on the other side of the main disc body. One of the four probes in each group is arranged horizontally and vertically, and the other two probes are arranged at 42 ° to the horizontal probe.
1、 Measure the diameter of round steel.
Use probe 01 ~ 04 to φ 9~ φ The diameter of 46mm round steel is measured, and each measuring section can measure the diameter dimensions at four different angles.
Determination of edge length of angle steel.
Use 02 and 04 probes to measure the side length of 25 ~ 45 angle steel, and use 06 and 08 probes to measure the side length of 50 ~ 65 angle steel. When arranging the above probe 42 ° in the horizontal direction, it is mainly considered that the angle steel may have slight torsion at the measurement position. After torsion, there will be a channel parallel to the measurement beam, blocking the measurement beam, resulting in excessive error. After 42 ° arrangement, as long as the torsion does not exceed 3 °, there will be no great measurement error. In addition, in practical use, the measurement error can be corrected within 0.10mm by using the coefficient according to the field situation.
3、 Measure flat steel.
For flat steel with a width of 38 ~ 100mm and a rear of 4.5 ~ 25mm, the width of the project device is measured with No. 07 probe and the thickness is measured with No. 05 probe.
The profile steel measuring instrument can carry out on-line detection of round steel outer diameter, ovality, flat steel width, thickness, length and width of angle steel collar and steel with various section shapes. One instrument can realize the measurement of various rolled materials and save costs.
